Ambuja Cement gained 9.32 per cent in today’s session to close at Rs 564.40. Ambuja Cements and its subsidiary ACC Ltd were purchased for $6.4 billion on Friday from the Holcim Group in Switzerland by Adani Group. Adani is now India's second-largest cement operator after UltraTech Cement of the Aditya Birla Group following the acquisition. Intraday high and low registered by the shares of Ambuja Cement were at Rs 572.25 and Rs 514.55, respectively
Shares of The India Cements Ltd zoomed nearly 10 per cent in intra-day trades to touch a new 52-week high at Rs 292.50. The shares of India Cements have been witnessing positive momentum since the last few sessions hitting a 52-week high on September 16 at Rs 283.25.
