Promoters’ holding in a company is one of the important parameters considered while making the fundamental analysis of the company.

Promoters’ stake means the number of shares that are held by the promoters out of the total number of shares in the company.

A rising trend in the promoters’ stake shows the confidence that the promoters have in their company and is thus, a positive sign whereas, the decreasing trend in the promoters’ stake may not be a healthy sign.
