Blue Star gains on winning Rs. 100 crore order
The cooling solutions company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Blue Star Engineering & Electronics, has bagged an order worth Rs. 100 crore from the Uttar Pradesh Medical and Health Services (UPMHS), Lucknow, for supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of 28 Medical CT Scanners to be installed at trauma centres in 28 different district hospitals across Uttar Pradesh.
Besides, in its recently concluded fiscal year 2018, Blue Star’s full-year revenue grew by 8.1 per cent yoy to Rs. 47,40.8 crore, while reported net profit grew by almost 21 per cent to Rs. 149.2 crore from the previous fiscal.
With this positive development, the stock of Blue Star gained almost 3 per cent to touch an intraday high of Rs. 695 in the early morning trade. At 10.18 hours, the stock was trading at Rs. 691 per share, up by almost 2.7 per cent from its previous close of Rs. 672.7.
