Best performing category & funds in last 3 months
The last six months have been exceptional for the equity market not only in India but around the world.
First, we witnessed a dramatic fall and then, we saw even more dramatic recovery. Between February and March 2020, we saw the equity market falling anywhere between 30-40 per cent. When the market was falling precipitously during the month of March 2020, nobody would have predicted the ‘V-shaped recovery’ that we are currently seeing.
From the low of March, the markets are up by more than 50 per cent. Given where things were just a few months ago, nobody would have thought that we will be trading at historically high valuations in such a short period.
In the following article, we will see how this movement has translated into the performance of the mutual fund schemes.
