BEML bag orders worth Rs 398 crore from Coal India Ltd
BEML has bagged orders worth Rs 398 crore (inclusive of taxes) from Coal India Limited (CIL), for the supply of seven 150-T dumpers and eight 190-T dumpers under the trial cum sale, along with a contract for spare parts for eight years on April 24, 2020.
BEML and CIL have signed the contract for executing the above contract at CIL headquarters. These dumpers will be deployed at SECL Gevra Project and NCL Amlohri & Nigahi Project, respectively.
The company has a healthy order book position of Rs 9,568.0 crore as on September 30, 2019. Structured into three main divisions, BEML manufactures a wide range of heavy earthmoving equipment catering to the mining and construction industry, vehicles for Defence Forces and coaches for metro & Indian Railways.
The stock of BEML closed at 601.80, up by 3.88 per cent or Rs 22.50 per share. The intraday high is Rs 621.50 and intraday low is Rs 596.30. The 52-week high is Rs 1108.20 and 52-week low is Rs 369.60. Meanwhile, CIL closed at 138.05, up by 0.77 per cent or Rs 1.05 per share.
