Balrampur Chini posts revenue growth of 18 per cent YoY
Balrampur Chini Mills Limited reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018 during market hours on Wednesday.
The company's standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 1,022.69 crore, registering 17.6 per cent yoy decline. This was primarily driven by volume growth in distillery segment which registered a growth of 91 per cent YoY. EBITDA for the quarter rose by 0.9 per cent yoy to Rs. 148.82 crore with a corresponding margin expansion of 267 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 14.6 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 90.92 crore, yoy increase of 10.4 per cent. PAT margin for the period stood at 9 per cent as compared to 7 per cent for the same period last year.
On Wednesday, at 3.30 pm, the stock traded at the price of Rs. 105.80 per share lower by 3 per cent on BSE. While the BSE Sensex traded at 34,410 higher by 520 points.
