SEBI guidelines prompt standardisation

Axis Mutual Fund has announced that it will be changing the names of several of its schemes effective September 30, 2024. These changes are in line with the Securities Exchange Board of India's (SEBI) directive to streamline and standardise the naming conventions of mutual funds.

 

The revised names aim to provide investors with a clearer understanding of each scheme's investment objectives. For instance, funds primarily focused on corporate bonds will now incorporate "Corporate Bond" in their titles, enhancing transparency and making them more distinguishable.
