Astral Poly net profit dips 17.4 per cent in Q4FY20
Astral Poly Technik’s consolidated revenue for the quarter Q4FY20 came in at Rs 628.9 crore as against Rs 774.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering 18.8 per cent YoY decline.
EBITDA for the quarter fell by 5.4 per cent YoY to Rs 112.6 crore as against Rs 119 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with a corresponding margin expansion of 254 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 17.9 per cent.
PAT for the quarter came in at Rs 51.6 crore as against Rs 62.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with YoY decline of 17.4 per cent.
Looking at the full year numbers i.e. for FY20, the revenue jumped by three per cent YoY to Rs 2,577.9 crore while, EBITDA grew by 15 per cent YoY to Rs 442.9 crore. Further, the company reported net profit of Rs 249.6 crore, up by 27 per cent YoY.
The company stated that due to sudden declaration of lockdown in India due to COVID-19 pandemic, it lost sizeable sales in March 2020, especially in the plumbing segment.
On Tuesday, the stock of Astral Poly dipped 4.4 per cent to Rs 803.30 in the early morning session from its previous close of Rs 840.
