Aster DM Healthcare launches video consultation service

Amid the current pandemic situation in the country, Aster CMI Hospital & Aster RV Hospital as part of Aster DM Healthcare has launched a special video consultation service.

The healthcare company announced on Thursday about the new service which allows patients to remotely consult with doctors. Aster DM Healthcare informed that the video consultation service will be allowed across all key specialities and within the standard working hours of the hospital.

Adding to this, the company said that to access the above-mentioned service, a patient needs to visit the hospital website, register and book an appointment with a specialist of their choice. Thereafter, on the date of appointment, he or she can remotely consult the doctor through a video call.

Dr Harish Pillai, CEO of Aster India, said that the initiative has been taken to promote social distancing as well as encourage patients to stay at home and get remote consultation with expert advice and proper treatment on time.

At the time of market closing on Friday, the stock of Aster DM Healthcare Ltd was trading at Rs 93.00, down by 0.53 per cent against its previous close of Rs 93.50. Its 52-week high is recorded at Rs 180.50 while, its 52-week low is Rs 78.50 on BSE.
