Ashoka Buildcon subsidiary wins city gas distribution projects

Unison Enviro Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company has received Letters of Intent (LOI) for city gas distribution in two areas in Karnataka and Maharashtra.

The subsidiary of Ashoka Buildcon had tendered bids to the Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) for authorization to lay, build, operate or expand city natural gas distribution network in different geographies.

PNGRB has issued the company LOIs for two geographical areas namely, GA_24, that is, Chitradurga & Devangere Districts in Karnataka and GA_40, Latur & Osamanabad Districts in Maharashtra. The authorization is granted for a period of 25 years.

At 15:20 hours, the stock of Ashoka Buildcon was quoting Rs. 147.95 per share, up by 1.20 per cent, while the benchmark index BSE Sensex was at 37,685.40, up by 129.24 points or 0.34 per cent on Monday.
