MOIL profit rises 13 per cent YoY
MOIL reported its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2018. The company's standalone revenue for the quarter came in at Rs. 357.77 crore as against Rs. 286.71 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering 25 per cent yoy increase.
The jump in revenue was led by a rise in revenue from mining products, manufacturing products and power segment by 18 per cent, 235 per cent and 25 per cent, respectively.
The EBITDA for the quarter rose by 26 per cent yoy to Rs. 146.29 crore as against Rs. 116.47 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, with a corresponding margin expansion of 27 bps. EBITDA margin for the quarter stood at 40.9 per cent.
The PAT for the quarter came in at Rs. 105.1 crore as against Rs. 92.69 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, yoy increase of 13 per cent.
MOIL (Manganese Ore India Ltd) is the largest producer of manganese ore by volume in the country with large reserves of high to medium grade of manganese ore.
On Wednesday, the stock opened at Rs. 175 per share and made an intraday high and low of Rs. 180.10 and Rs. 171.50, respectively, on the BSE.
