Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 194.70 points or 0.27 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 72,332.85 signifying a gain of 60.91 points or 0.08 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.67 per cent, power gained 0.52 and auto rose by 0.42 per cent.
Meanwhile, PTC Industries Ltd, Allcargo Logistics Ltd and L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
PTC Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.28 per cent to trade at Rs 6960.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Allcargo Logistics Ltd rallied 4.24 per cent to trade at Rs 86.00 apiece. Shares of Allcargo Logistics will trade ex-date today, as the company set January 2, 2024, as the record date for the issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 3:1.
L.G. Balakrishnan & Bros Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.03 per cent to trade at Rs 1282.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
