Sonata Software reports strong operating performance for the quarter.

Sonata Software has reported stable results and strong operating performance for the quarter. 

The revenue for the quarter declined by 18.3 per cent QoQ to Rs.625 crore in Q4FY18 as against Rs.766 crore in Q3FY18 and Rs 686 crore in Q4FY18. 

The EBITDA for the quarter declined by 2 per cent QoQ to Rs.63 crore in Q4FY18 as compared with Rs.65 crore in Q3FY18. The EBITDA margin expanded by 170 bps to 10.1 per cent for Q4FY18. 

The net profit for the quarter rose by 10 per cent QoQ to Rs 54 crore in Q4FY18 compared to Rs.49 crore in Q3FY18. 

For the full year, the revenue grew by 3.5 per cent YoY. Its EBITDA for the FY18 rose by 25 per cent YoY to Rs 5 crore and the net profit grew by 22.5 per cent YoY to Rs.192 crore. 

The stock closed 1.71 per cent up at Rs 345 on the bourses.
