Apollo Pipes, Quess Corp and KPIT Technologies witness positive action in todays trade

As the market recoups morning session loss towards the close, Apollo Pipes, Quess Corp and KPIT Technologies emerge as Day’s Movers.

The markets made a remarkable recovery of 900 points after opening the day’s session in deep red (with Sensex lower by 1289 points) but continued to be in red as it closed at 57300.68 with a loss of 383 points or 0.7 per cent. While Nifty reclaimed the 17000 mark at the close recovering 250 points lost in the day’s session and finally stood at 17092.20 with a loss of 114 points or 0.67 per cent. 

In the broader market, BSE Midcap closed at 23416.89 while BSE Smallcap ended at 26697.23 in red. Most of the sectoral indices traded in red with a few exceptions where value buying was witnessed. 

Apollo Pipes, Quess Corporation and KPIT Technologies witnessed positive action in today’s session. 

Apollo Pipes soared 8.17 per cent and closed at Rs 492 with an intraday high and low of Rs 524 and Rs 412. The stock made some recovery after trading in red for the past four sessions shedding almost 10 per cent. 

Quess Corp rallied 6.15 per cent in today’s session and the stock closed at Rs 622.50. Previously, the temporary staffing company was under selling pressure after the sudden exit of its MD and CEO Krishna Suraj Moraje and in the last few sessions, the stock made a strong recovery, making it very volatile. 

KPIT Technologies jumped 5.69 per cent to close at Rs 571.25. Much against the sector sentiment where most big weights were trading in deep red, KPPIT Technologies was trading in positive territory. Today, the stock logged an intraday high and low of Rs 578 and Rs 510.30, respectively.
