Amrutanjan products to be sold on Amazon
Amrutanjan Heath Care has signed up with Amazon to offer its range of products under 'Prime' from August 18, 2018. This will help the company’s brands to reach out consumers in new geographies.
The company has taken initiatives to strengthen distribution in the existing channels, that is, wholesale, general trade, chemists and modern trade, of which e-commerce is also a principal area of focus for the management as part of the company’s Go to Market effort.
The company has market capitalisation of Rs. 1,064.59 crores. In the June quarter, the revenue was up by 12.8 per cent YoY, while the net loss stood flat at Rs. 1.54 crores as against Rs. 1.51 crores in the quarter ending June 2017.
Amrutanjan Health Care is engaged in manufacturing Ayurvedic pain balms and beverages. The company specializes in Ayurvedic balm for headaches, cold and cough.
In the last one week, the company’s stock has jumped by 43.2 per cent from Rs. 245.45 to Rs. 351.35 per share. On Monday, the stock opened at Rs. 344.90 and surged by 4.8 percent to make an intra-day high and 52-week high of Rs. 359.90. Its 52-week low has been at Rs. 235.10 per share.
