Unlike other construction companies that are present in multiple segments (such as commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure), Akash Infra focusses only on road construction. Its operations were diversified in the hospitality business in 2007 by procuring a three-year lease for Pathikashram, a three-star hotel in Gandhinagar, from the Government of Gujarat.
On Tuesday, during the early morning session, the stock of Akash Infra was trading 1.8 per cent higher at Rs 199.05 from its previous close of Rs 195.60 on NSE.
