Ahluwalia Contracts wins Rs. 538.76 crore, share drops
Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited has announced that the company has been awarded Rs. 538.76 crore for a project in Lucknow. Shares of the company dipped below 3 per cent.
The company has been awarded the project from NBCC India for the construction and development or re-development of the Charbagh Railway Station at Lucknow, UP. Ahluwalia has received a total order inflow of Rs. 2,575.33 crore in the Financial year 2018-19.
Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited is an India-based integrated construction company. The Company's project portfolio includes projects across residential, commercial complexes, hotels, institutional buildings, hospitals and corporate offices, information technology (IT) parks and many others.
On Tuesday, the shares of the company closed at Rs. 270 per share, down by 1.82 per cent despite the recent development. The intraday high was Rs. 275 and intraday low was Rs. 265.35 per share. Its 52-week high was Rs. 445 and 52-week low was Rs. 256 per share on the BSE.
The BSE Sensex closed at 33,847.23 level, down by 0.84 per cent.
