Ahluwalia Contracts receives new order for construction project worth Rs 533.90 crore
Ahluwalia Contracts Limited has secured new order aggregating to Rs 533.90 crore for the redevelopment of LTMG Hospital, Sion F/N ward - construction of Nursing College & RMO Residence building located behind the existing college building at LTMG Hospital (Mumbai).
Reacting to this, the stock of Ahluwalia Contracts today jumped 4.83 per cent and made an intraday high of Rs 267.05 per share.
Recently, Ahluwalia Contracts has also secured an order aggregating to Rs 530.32 crore for the construction of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA-Mandale Depot in Mumbai.
The total order inflow during FY 2020-21 stands at Rs 1,777.04 crore. The company reported a net profit of Rs 17.95 crore in Q2FY21, which rose by 37.44 per cent YoY, as compared to Q2FY20 when it had reported a profit of Rs 13.06 crore. The company reported a total income of Rs 441.51 crore for Q2FY21, an increase of 1.34 per cent, as against the total income of Rs 435.66 crore for Q2FY20.
Ahluwalia Contracts is an integrated construction company whose project portfolio encompasses projects across residential & commercial complexes, hotels, institutional buildings, hospitals, corporate offices, information technology (IT) parks as well as industrial complexes, metro stations & depots, power plants, and automated car parking lot, etc.
The share price of the company closed at Rs 256.10, up by 0.53 per cent or Rs 1.35 per share on BSE.
