Acrysil Limited freezes at 5 per cent upper circuit; heres why!

Acrysil Limited has recently announced further expansion of its production capacity by an additional 1,60,000 Quartz sinks annually through Greenfield Project at Bhavnagar in Gujarat. This will increase the overall capacity to 1 million sinks per annum. Acrysil is the largest manufacturer of Quartz kitchen sinks in Asia built with German Technology.
The expansion in production capacity is to meet the growing demand for Quartz kitchen sinks in the global market. The proposed capital expenditure will involve an investment of approximately Rs 38 crore in land & building, plant & machinery, moulds, utilities, warehouse, and other related infrastructure. The project will be financed by a mix of internal accruals and debt. It is expected to be completed by Q1FY23.
Acrysil is engaged in the manufacturing and trading of quartz kitchen sinks, bath products, tiles, kitchen appliances, stainless steel kitchen sinks, and accessories. The company has manufacturing plants at Bhavnagar (Gujarat).
Acrysil is the only ‘composite Quartz sink’ manufacturer with German Technology that is patented by Schock; only four other companies in the world has the licence to use this technology.
The company gets around 80 per cent revenues from export markets while 73 per cent of the total revenue comes from quartz sink.
It is also engaged in the manufacturing of stainless-steel kitchen sinks as well as dealing into a wide range of built-in kitchen appliances under its own brand ‘Carysil’.
Acrysil Ltd’s scrip touched a high of Rs 668 per share and locked in at a 5 per cent upper circuit during the early market hours on Tuesday.
