Nifty 50 began flat with an upward tilt despite mixed global trends. In this post, we have listed stocks having powerful technical setups.

On mixed global trends, the Nifty 50 began flat at 17,546.45. The leading Wall Street indices finished the week down as a result of mixed job numbers. According to the job data, the unemployment rate increased from 3.5 per cent in July 2022 to 3.7 per cent in August 2022.

On Friday, the Nasdaq Composite dipped 1.3 per cent, while the Dow Jones and S&P 500 both down 1.07 per cent. The drop came when Russia shuts down a key gas export pipeline to Europe. The European government called off emergency steps to cool the rise in energy costs.

Following Europe's gas crisis, Asian markets were neutral on Monday. The euro has dropped to a 20-year low as markets factor in an increased chance of a recession.

Nifty 50 was trading at 17,666.10, up 126.65 points (0.72 per cent) at the time of writing. A mixed performance is seen between the broader market and frontline indices. Nifty Mid-Cap 100 is up 0.52 per cent, while Nifty Small-Cap 100 is up 1.22 per cent.

On the BSE, the advance-decline ratio was bullish. Around 2,227 stocks were up, 1,258 were down, and 173 stayed unchanged. All sectors were trading in green. Sectors such as media, metals, and banks topped the charts, while FMCG, automobile, pharma, and IT were the bottom performers.

According to the data, FIIs and DIIs were both net sellers as of September 2. Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) sold shares worth Rs 8.79 crore. Domestic Institutional Investors (DII) sold shares worth Rs 668.74 crore.
