Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 24

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 0.21 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.04 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the mixed on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.02 per cent at 84,914 and the Nifty-50 up 0.01 per cent at 25,940. About 1,932 shares have advanced, 2,045 shares have declined and 99 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,163.23 on September 25, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,011.55 on September 24, 2024.

The broader markets were in mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.21 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.04 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were One 97 Communications Ltd (Paytm), Solar Industries Ltd and NMDC Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are S H Kelkar and Company Ltd, AstraZeneca Pharma India Ltd and Chaman Lal Setia Exports Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.76 lakh crore or USD 5.69 trillion as of September 24, 2024. On the same day, 300 stocks hit a 52-week high while 29 stocks touched a 52-week low.
