Information On Bonus Declaration

I have always been taking delivery of shares mostly from the ‘A’ and the ‘B’ group. That is to say, I firmly believe only in fundamental analysis. For this, I must admit that I have greatly benefitted as a long-term subscriber of DSIJ, and am very thankful to the team.

I would like to take this opportunity to request you to carry a special issue on companies that are probable candidates for the declaration of bonus. I look at corporate actions very keenly, and hence, I am making this request.

Seeking Redressal For Broker-Related Grievances

I have been a regular reader of Dalal Street Investment Journal for quite some time now. DSIJ is undoubtedly one of the better publications available in the market that is serving the interests of serious stock market investors. This is one of the reasons that I have always keenly read the magazine along with other publications.

While there is very much a need for a magazine like DSIJ to help investors manage their stock market portfolio in a better manner, there is a larger need for someone to take the lead in helping investors sort out the hassles that they go through while dealing with market intermediaries. While the SEBI has been entrusted with the task of safeguarding investor interests, there seems to be some disconnect between what the various SEBI chiefs have propounded or preached and the ground reality. I have been facing a lot of problems, with my sub-broker for quite some time now and have written to the SEBI seeking indemnification and action against the transgressors. However, all my appeals until now have fallen on deaf ears. I am writing this letter simultaneously to various authorities in order to seek redressal for my grievances. I hope this letter reaches the concerned authorities.
